Prior to joining Oaktree in 2011, Mr. Lazarus spent nearly three and a half years as an assistant vice president and associate in the Real Estate Private Equity group at Canyon Partners. Prior experience includes two years as an analyst at Credit Suisse-DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners and an internship at Cigna Retirement and Investment Services. Mr. Lazarus received a B.A. degree in economics summa cum laude with a minor in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.
