Bio
As vice president, Jamie works within the asset management group and is responsible for a portfolio of properties that include both retail and industrial assets in Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. His duty is to create and maintain value within the company’s owned portfolio and leading day-to-day business management for his assigned properties. This includes long-term capital expenditure planning, cash flow management, lease underwriting, acquisition due diligence, dispositions and formulating and executing annual business plan objectives. For the retail assets that cover the four states, Jamie maintains strong relationships with the anchor tenants and the local brokerage communities. Jamie also works alongside the development team on executing redevelopment strategies and assists with operations for various value-add retail properties. Past Experience Prior to joining United Properties in 2007, Jamie spent five years at Buell & Company in Denver where he was involved in the leasing, property management, accounting, and development activities of their portfolio. Professional and Community Involvement Jamie is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) where he attends both local and national conferences and he recently completed a term on the planning committee for the Rocky Mountain Idea Exchange. Education Jamie graduated from Washington College in Chestertown, Md., with a Bachelor of Arts degree. While at Washington, Jamie played lacrosse and won a Division III National Championship.
