Bio
James Vu attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics with a Computing Minor. Before joining CBI, he worked as a commercial broker for over a decade specializing in industrial real estate. During his tenure in the business, he completed over $ 100 million in total transactions and was involved in over 75 transactions in the Southern California area. He has executed sale leasebacks, 1031 exchanges, owner/user, leased investment, land development, and foreclosure sales. He has extensive knowledge and experience working with specialized industries that includes textile, food processing, logistics, and e-commerce companies. He currently manages a database of over 3,000 contacts consisting of landlords, industrial tenants, developers, and institutional investors. His main expertise is investment sales, tenant representation, owner/user sales, property management and leasing of industrial properties in the Southern California region. Prior to working in commercial real estate, he worked at a boutique investment banking firm based out of Newport Beach. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and spending time with his family.
