Bio
James is originally from Beaumont, Texas, but has lived in Dallas since he started his career in Commercial Real Estate in 2006 as a tenant rep. broker at City Venture Group. Prior to joining Malouf Interests in 2020, James served as the Senior Director of Retail Acquisitions at Leon Capital Group where he oversaw a team focused on the acquisition/development of single tenant retail assets. During that time, James was responsible for the acquisition and development of over 80 retail investments, with a total value of over $270,000,000.00. As the Senior Vice President of Investments, James will be responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities for Malouf Interests across the country. James graduated from Vanderbilt University where he was a four-year letterman for the Division 1, Men’s Soccer program.
