Experience

James Mattox is a Partner with Foundry Commercial and leads the retail leasing and brokerage team for the Carolinas. He has been active in the leasing, brokerage, and development sourcing of retail properties for over 20 years. He has specialized in outparcel and land sales, site selection for local, regional, and national retailers, restaurants, and developersand has been involved with numerous developments and redevelopments of single tenant assets, grocery anchored assets, and power centers that have a mixed-use component. James is a graduate of Wake Forest University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

James is married and has four children ranging in age from newborn to 12. He is an active member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church and enjoys outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, biking, hiking, golfing, and anything involving his family.
