James T Gillies

James T. Gillies is a Senior Managing Director, where he oversees all liquid alternatives and related strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital and secondaries portfolios. Mr. Gillies also focuses on strategic investments in financial services firms and special opportunities. Previously, Mr. Gillies was a Director and Principal of Channel Capital Group. He began his career in 1997 as Co-Founder of www.hedgefund.net, one of the world's leading sources for hedge fund information. Mr. Gillies earned a BA, cum laude, from Hamilton College. He is a CFA charterholder, and holds the CAIA designation.
