James Flynn

James Flynn is Chief Executive Officer of ORIX Real Estate Capital and will lead the newly created company that will combine Hunt Real Estate Capital with the ORIX Real Estate Capital brands, Lancaster Pollard and Red Capital Group. Mr. Flynn has overall management responsibility for mortgage origination, broker-dealer activities, balance sheet lending and investment management. While at Hunt, under his leadership the servicing portfolio grew by more than $3 billion, and the business's annual originations have increased by 80 percent. Mr. Flynn practiced law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher (GDC) in its real estate practice group. Before joining GDC, he was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Flynn holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from Columbia University.
