James Christensen

Mr. Christensen joined ShopCore in December of 2016 as Vice President of Asset Management. He has over 15 years of shopping center experience. Previously, Mr. Christensen served as Senior Vice President of Asset Management at InvenTrust Properties where he was responsible for developing and executing portfolio and asset strategies for the company’s 20 million square feet, including oversight of asset management, property management, re/development and construction management teams. Prior to InvenTrust, Mr. Christensen served as Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Heitman where he was responsible for the leasing, property management, debt management, dispositions, redevelopments and joint venture relationships for a $2.6 billion retail portfolio. Mr. Christensen is a graduate of The University of Akron. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
