James Bassen

James Bassen is a Vice President at Cannon Hill Capital Partners, where he is responsible for supporting the acquisition and asset management activities of the firm. Mr. Bassen joined Cannon Hill Capital Partners in August 2023 and is based in New York City.

Prior to joining Cannon Hill, Mr. Bassen worked at Allianz Real Estate of America (now PIMCO Prime Real Estate), where he worked on direct and indirect equity investments nationally across the risk spectrum. He predominantly focused on office acquisitions as well as facilitated Allianz’s U.S. expansion into the logistics and life sciences property sectors. Prior to Allianz, Mr. Bassen worked at Eastdil Secured in the New York office.

Mr. Bassen received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with a minor in Real Estate from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
