Jaime Bertsche

Jaime Bertsche is a Principal responsible for leasing efforts in Mid-America Asset Management’s retail property portfolio. She has been with Mid-

America since June 2004, specializing solely in Landlord representation. Ms. Bertsche has extensive experience in an array of product types including mixed use developments, multi level projects, power centers, traditional grocery-anchored centers and high street retail.

Jaime focuses on urban retail properties including traditional centers and street front retail within Mid-America Asset Management’s portfolio. Clients include major Pension Funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts and Entrepreneurs. Through her work in each respective area, she has formed strong relationships with local, regional and national tenants in addition to long term relationships with clients.

Her responsibilities include developing appropriate merchandising plans for each project, marketing space to prospective tenants, cold calling, negotiating with new and existing tenants from the Letter of Intent stage through lease execution and advising clients with recommendations to help create value for each different property type. Additional responsibilities include monthly reporting, budgets/leasing projections and providing ongoing competitive market information to help clients make informed decisions on their respective assets.

Jaime is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in

Marketing. She is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She lives in Wicker Park with her husband and two daughters.
