J. Andrew Meador

Andrew Meador is the Vice President/Director of Capital Projects for McDowell Properties. Mr. Meador is responsible for coordinating the project management and design teams during the due diligence, physical inspections, and improvements of prospective assets. Mr. Meador also assists asset managers in monitoring the activities of third party management companies to reduce expenses and maintain the asset’s value. Mr. Meador joined McDowell Properties in 2008 and has over 30 years of experience. He has held positions as Service Manager, Construction Coordinator, Maintenance Director, Company Trainer, and Capital Projects Manager. Mr. Meador holds the Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician designation through the National Apartment Association. He also serves as a faculty member of the National Apartment Association’s Education Institute. He is a past president of the Triangle Apartment Association and currently serves on the North Carolina Apartment Association Board of Directors.
