Bio
As the founding partner of JMC Holdings, now Acram Group, Matt focuses on firm wide strategy, acquisitions/dispositions, capital relationships, asset level execution and team development. Prior to founding Acram Group, Matt worked at Tishman Speyer, a global real estate owner and operator, reporting directly to the firm's CEO while overseeing various strategic initiatives and projects throughout the firm, with a primary focus on New York City assets and business. While at Tishman Speyer, Matt worked very closely with Acram Group partner's Isaac Zion and David Taylor. Prior to Tishman Speyer, Matt founded and developed two venture capital-backed companies: the first, LiveAdvice, was sold to AT&T in 2007; the second, Coleman Research Group, remains a leading independent research firm today. With this background, Matt also leads Acram Group's seed investments in the real estate technology space, having successfully invested in companies like VTS, Honest Buildings, ConcealFab and the MetaProp Funds. Matt currently serves on the Board of Trustees at The Salisbury School in Salisbury CT, where he is an alumnus. Matt received his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, where he was the captain of the Division I Men's Lacrosse Team and received his MBA from Columbia Business School. Matt lives in Fairfield County, CT with his wife and three children.
