Bio
Ike is President and Vice-Chairman of NFI, as well as a Board Member. In addition, he is a general partner in NFI Logistics and NFI Distribution. NFI is a privately-held integrated supply chain company with annual revenue projected to hit $2.2 billion in 2019. In co-ownership with his two brothers, he is a general partner of The Four B’s, a real estate development and construction company located in 15 states. Ike earned a BS in Business Administration from Boston University in 1976 and joined the family business after graduation. As well as his duties with NFI and The Four Bs, Ike also has held a Board of Director’s seat with Sun Bancorp, Inc. He is also a major investor in Dallas area restaurants, namely Sfuzzi, Villa O, and others. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Truckload Carriers Association, as well as the Scholarship Committee. He is a Trustee at National Jewish Hospital in Denver, CO. He has formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Social Venture Partners, the Board of Directors for the Dallas Jewish Community Center, The Board of Directors for the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, the Board of Trustees for Greenhill Schools of Dallas and the Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind. Ike was also a member of 2011 Super Bowl Host Committee-Concert Kick-off Series in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In 2009, both Ike and his wife Candy were named honorees for their help in building the The Kellman Brown Academy, a Jewish day school in Voorhees, NJ. Recently, they have been named honorees for the Dallas area by National Jewish Health in Denver, CO. Ike and Candy live in Dallas, Texas and have three children, Jordan, Aaron and Zachary. Jordan was the first of the fourth generation of the Brown family to work for NFI, where he currently works on Real Estate projects. Aaron recently joined the Finance Department at NFI.
