Howard Jacobs

As Chief Operating Officer, Howard supports all Aegis Living communities across Washington, California, and Nevada. Howard joined Aegis in 2019 and served as General Manager before expanding his role to support a portfolio of communities as Vice President of Operations.

Howard has enjoyed a distinguished career in hospitality, where he was a leader of leaders in luxury hotels. As an Area General Manager at Destination Hotels, he supported over 600 team members and four signature properties—The Woodmark Hotel, Suncadia Resort, Motif Seattle, and Hotel DeAnza. He also spent nine years at Provenance Hotels, where as Regional Vice President and Chief Operating Officer he supported 700 team members across four states and 13 branded, luxury lifestyle properties.

Howard is a committed servant leader dedicated to delivering world-class care and service and supporting our residents, family members, and team through kindness and collaboration. He considers caring for seniors the pinnacle of hospitality, the role for which all previous roles have prepared him.

Howard has a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He enjoys time in the recording studio, working with bands as a drummer and percussionist. Howard’s greatest joy is spending time walking, hiking, and traveling with his family, including their newest addition – a German Shepherd named Georgia.
