Bio
As Project Engineer, Hector Arechiga de Leon oversees value engineering, quality and cost control during the development process. He collaborates with external consultants and manages projects’ documents, schedule, budget and risk. Prior to joining Driftwood Capital, Hector worked at Ingenieros Civiles Asociados, one of the largest infrastructure developers and contractors of México, and ARHEA Property Development, a boutique developer focused on Mexico City and Cancun.
A civil engineer, Hector obtained a bachelor’s degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in México City and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from the University of South California. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Mexican Association for Rental Housing (AVER).
