Before joining Colliers International, Greg Ratliff worked at Newmark Grubb ACRES and CBC Advisors and has since become the premier multifamily expert along the Wasatch Front. He orchestrated several multifamily infill development opportunities in downtown Salt Lake City and has closed over $700 million in transactions.Greg and his team specialize in multifamily properties and are proficient in all aspects of new construction, redevelopment, repositioning and operations. They have assembled a vast database of rents, transactions, development pipelines and operating expenses for multifamily properties of every scope and scale and have a finger on the pulse of every aspect of the multifamily market along the Wasatch Front. He and his team advise clients on changing and emerging trends in new construction and renovation as well as on debt, refinancing and positioning assets for disposition.Greg's experience with multifamily began in 1988 in residential property management. He was a portfolio manager for national property management firms such as J.B. McLoughlin/ConAM, The Allied Group and Prowswood/BFG. He managed over 170 multifamily residential communities. Since entering into commercial brokerage in 1996 with Marcus & Millichap REIBC in Seattle, Greg has worked on project feasibility, renovation, construction management and brokerage projects. He consulted with an SEC-appointed receiver on the analysis and disposition of over 40 properties in eight states and was appointed receiver himself on several multifamily communities in Washington, which he positioned for immediate disposition.His experience and knowledge combined with a personal ethic of client loyalty and excellent service position him as an ideal choice for multifamily investors. His client base includes partnerships, pension fund advisors, lenders and loan servicers, TICs and private investors.
