Greg Haynes is a Senior Vice President in the CBRE Industrial Specialty Group. Mr. Haynes is part of
Atlanta's premier owner representation industrial team for the Southeast. The team provides a united,
single source for property owners seeking to lease or sell any industrial asset, from small business
parks to large bulk warehouses and anything in between. Mr. Haynes and his team combine their
knowledge and experience with the unmatched CBRE platform to deliver exceptional solutions that
drive value and growth.
In his 38 years at CBRE, Mr. Haynes has participated in the lease or sale of over 80 million SF of
vacant space. He has represented sellers, landlords, purchasers and tenants, ranging from Fortune
100 companies to start-ups. More than 500 of Mr. Haynes' brokerage transactions were of improved
properties, with the average size deal totaling more than 100,000 SF. Twenty-eight transactions were
in excess of 400,000 SF. Additionally, site and acreage sales total more than 4,000 acres in 120
transactions.
Mr. Haynes has consistently been recognized by CBRE and within the industry for his skills and service.
He has been a member of the Colbert Coldwell Circle on two different occasions and was the number
one industrial broker company-wide in 1996. On three separate occasions, he served as coach to the
winning University of Georgia's NAIOP College Challenge MBA Real Estate Team. Mr. Haynes has
been recognized as a Top Ten Industrial Broker by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors eleven
times.
In 2006, Haynes published The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music, which won a Bronze Medal in 2007
for popular culture books. The book was critically acclaimed for its depiction of a genre of music and
musicians that transcended the racial divide of the 60s. The book made its debut at the Georgia Music
Hall of Fame, and memorabilia related to the book along with uniforms and instruments provided by
musicians featured in the book were on display at the museum for eight months during 2006 and
2007.
In 2010, Mr. Haynes was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue in 2010 to the Board of the
Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities and serves on the board for three
years.
