Bio
Grayson Hawkins joined the Charlotte office of CBRE in 2017 as a Capital Markets Analyst with the Office
and Industrial Institutional Properties team. Grayson’s primary responsibilities include underwriting, financial
analysis, market research, facilitating the due diligence process, and assisting in the marketing process.
Prior to joining CBRE in Charlotte, Grayson worked for CBRE in Atlanta, first as an Associate with Valuation
& Advisory Services, and second as an Analyst for the Debt & Structured Finance group. During his tenure
with Valuation & Advisory Services, Grayson assisted CBRE’s top revenue-generating appraiser, performing
appraisals across all property types nationally. As a member of Debt & Structured Finance group, Grayson
assisted in sourcing over $1.5 billion of capital from a variety of international and local lenders, including
banks, life companies, conduits and debt funds. Since specializing in office and industrial properties in the
Carolinas, Grayson has worked on over $750 million in sales.
Grayson graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in business administration,
a double major in finance and real estate, and a minor in environmental studies. During his undergraduate
studies, Grayson worked as a broker at Fonville Morisey Realtors in Raleigh, North Carolina, and interned at
CBRE in Columbia, South Carolina.
