Graeme Rael

Mr. Rael is President and CEO of Rael Development Corporation and is responsible for executing Raelcorp’s multifaceted real estate strategy. In addition to formulating the strategic direction for the firm, Mr. Rael is responsible for guiding all investment partnerships from inception to exit, overseeing investment and disposition decisions, capitalization structures, as well as a variety of compliance and asset management activities for the firm.

A 25-year veteran in the real estate finance, investment and development businesses, Mr. Rael has been integral in shaping Raelcorp’s growth over the last two decades. Under his leadership, Raelcorp has expanded consistently and successfully in both size and reach, acquiring and developing multi-family, retail and student housing assets from Washington State to North Carolina, and numerous locations in between.

Prior to assuming his role with Raelcorp, Mr. Rael worked with New York- based Sonnenblick-Goldman Company, where he structured and arranged over $1 billion in equity and debt transactions during his tenure at the firm. Mr. Rael received his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where he currently resides with his wife and family.
