Glenn Rudy joined Newmark in 2015 as a managing director in the firm's Newport Beach, California, office, bringing with him more than 16 years of experience in the shopping center industry.

Mr. Rudy has participated in the sale or financing of more than 200 properties with an aggregate value in excess of $2 billion. He has transacted on properties for both individual private clients and large institutions throughout the Western United States including California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Montana.

Mr. Rudy joined Newmark after a successful tenure as a director of capital markets within Cushman & Wakefield's Western Retail Advisors. Mr. Rudy and his partners, Pete Bethea and Rob Ippolito, executed on the sale of 30 properties totaling in excess of $800 million since joining the team in 2012.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Rudy served as managing director of Capital Real Estate Advisors in West Los Angeles, responsible for overseeing a disciplined acquisition platform for the company's internal portfolio. Additionally, Mr. Rudy was responsible for managing all lines of its third-party real estate services to the firm's twelve high-net-worth family offices it represented exclusively. While under Mr. Rudy's oversight, the firm's investment portfolio tripled in overall size and value, while its service lines generated an increase of more than 75% of its gross revenues.

Mr. Rudy's professional and personal affiliations include the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Jonathan Club, Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles, Children's Hospital Los Angeles Men's Guild and Loyola High School Alumni Association.

A Los Angeles native, Mr. Rudy attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, on a full athletic scholarship for football, until prolonged injury ended his athletic career. He transferred to California State University, Northridge, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in political science.
