Bio
George Cavelius joined Klein Enterprises in November 2018 and currently serves as Director of Investments. George’s responsibilities involve sourcing, evaluating, and executing on investment opportunities. This includes acquisitions, dispositions, development activities, and portfolio-level optimization and capitalization. Prior to joining KE, George spent several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) primarily working within the Financial Services practice. More recently, George spent time at a public REIT on the Asset Management & Underwriting team.
George earned his M.B.A in Real Estate & Finance from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, and graduated from Virginia Tech with dual degrees: B.S. in Accounting and B.S. in Finance. George is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Maryland. He is an active member of ULI, ICSC and NAIOP. Outside of work, George enjoys spending time with his wife, Katelyn, and three daughters, Caroline, Kyleigh, and Makayla. He also spends his free time playing competitive slow-pitch softball, grilling/smoking meats, attending country music concerts, and trail hiking.
