Gaurav Kukreja

Gaurav Kukreja is a Director and Senior Vice President at Amstar responsible for investments, asset management, fundraising and regulatory compliance. He is also Amstar's Country Manager for India. Mr. Kukreja has more than 14 years experience in real estate and investment banking where he was part of deal teams that executed over $30.0bn of real estate transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, bank financings and leveraged buyouts. Prior to joining Amstar in 2008, Mr. Kukreja was a senior associate of investment banking in the Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging and Leisure Group of Deutsche Bank AG in New York. Prior to that, he worked at Credit Suisse as an associate of investment banking in the Leveraged Finance Group. Before business school he was director of food & beverage and a member of the W Hotels Opening Team for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Mr. Kukreja received a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts and a MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
