Bio

Gary Steffen is Global Head for Hilton's full service brands category, overseeing the company's flagship brand, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, as well as DoubleTree by Hilton, Curio Collection by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Signia by Hilton. With nearly 30 years of hospitality experience, Steffen has been with Hilton for more than 15 years and previously launched and successfully led the development and operations of Hilton's lifestyle hotel brand, Canopy by Hilton. Prior to this role, Steffen served as vice president of brand performance support for several of Hilton's full service brands. In these positions, Steffen successfully expanded and repositioned DoubleTree by Hilton in international markets and helped lead the launch of Curio Collection by Hilton. Before joining Hilton, Steffen held an assortment of progressive leadership roles in hotel operations, including general manager positions in Austin and Minneapolis. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stout and has a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
