Gary Pool

Gary is a Senior Managing Director in the Dallas office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joins JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has than 25 years of commercial and multifamily real estate experience, with the last 20 years of his career spent working in both underwriting and pre-application sizing and structuring of transactions for both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. During the course of his career, he has been involved in more than $10 billion in real estate transactions. Gary is responsible for leading JLL's Fannie Mae line of business and is the point person responsible for JLL's relationship with Fannie Mae, along with JLL's senior management.

Gary started at HFF in August 2018. Before that, he worked for M&T Realty Capital, a Fannie Mae DUS lender and Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer. In his last position at M&T, he was the Fannie Mae Chief Underwriter and responsible for all aspects of agency underwriting as it related to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac transactions. Prior to M&T, Gary was an assistant relationship manager in the Commercial Banking department of U.S. Bank in California.
