As Naftali Group’s Executive Vice President, South Florida, Gary Cohen oversees the firm’s sourcing and execution of all investments for the South Florida region.
Previously, Mr. Cohen has served as Executive Vice President of Brightline where he led the development and completion of over one-million-square-feet of a transformative mixed-use transit-oriented-project (TOD) project in Downtown Miami as well as the site selection and acquisition for expansion along the Florida rail corridor.
Mr. Cohen previously was Partner and Managing Director for Endeavor Real Estate Partners, responsible for acquiring, managing, and developing commercial real estate. Additionally, he was a Founder of Paragon Acquisition Group— a real estate acquisition and development company with focus on on-site and project analysis, fund-raising, and zoning. Included in Mr. Cohen’s portfolio of successful ventures are 3200 S. Ocean in Highland Beach, and 3550 S. Ocean in Palm Beach. Gary has founded and/or served as a Partner at several real estate development companies, some of which include CMA Companies where he acquired and secured site plan approval for the Savoy Hotel, and MOC Capital Partners, Inc.—a real estate investment banking firm.
Mr. Cohen began his career in banking as an Associate Vice President at Goldome Bank in New York City, where he led the commercial loan department.
Mr. Cohen graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Legal Studies.
