Bio

Greenlaw “Fritz” Grupe, Jr. founded Grupe in 1966. Mr. Grupe is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Past President of the Urban Land Institute; Past Regent for the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California; serves as Founding Chair on the University of California, Merced, Foundation Board of Trustees; and is a past member of the Board of Directors for the California Chamber of Commerce. He is also the Chairman & Founder of the San Joaquin County Business Council; the former Chapter Chairman and National University Chairman for the Young Presidents’ Organization; Past Chairperson for the United Way in San Joaquin County; and Past President of the following organizations: The Golden Gate and Northern California Chapters of Young Presidents’ Organization, the Stockton Chamber of Commerce, the Stockton Board of Realtors, and the Builders Hall of Fame. Mr. Grupe currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at U.C. Berkeley.
