Bio
As founding partner of SunCap Property Group, Flint brings over 30 years of national commercial real estate development expertise to his leadership role at the company. Flint started in the business as a commercial real estate broker in his native town of Miami, Florida spending most of his initial eight years in the industry with Cushman & Wakefield. While there, Flint worked on behalf of institutional landlords leasing space in Class "A " urban and suburban office buildings as well as building a substantial book of business in the tenant representation side of the business. In 1994, Flint moved his family to Charlotte, North Carolina to join The Harris Group (later merged with Lincoln Property Company) to pursue his passion in development. As Senior Vice President of Development and Director of Corporate Services at Lincoln Harris, Flint led several national corporate real estate services accounts including ALLTEL, JC Bradford & Co. and Interstate/Johnson Lane and completed over 350 brokerage transactions and over three million square feet of build-to-suits in 37 states. In 2004, Flint joined Lauth Property Group in Charlotte as their Southeast regional partner and grew the full service development and construction company's Southeast Region into the number one-ranked development company in the Carolinas (2008 Charlotte Business Journal's annual rankings) with an annual development and construction volume of over $150 million per year. Flint served on Lauth's Capital Committee and its Executive Committee. In March of 2009, Flint left Lauth to start SunCap Property Group and refocus his development energies on long term single tenant build-to-suit projects and to build an organization of seasoned professionals highly focused on serving client needs. Flint currently serves on the Board of Directors at The Harvest Center of Charlotte and is an Executive Board Member of the Mecklenburg County Council of The Boy Scouts of America. Flint holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
