Bio
Eyal Alfi is the Founder and Managing Partner of New Gables Capital and owner of the Pan York Investment Group. The family-owned and -run office targets fixed income investments in commercial real estate and associated credit products. Pan York's current real estate holdings include triple net leased industrial and retail properties in Florida as well as passive investments in multifamily, office and hospitality properties in Texas, Colorado, Indiana, Florida, and Georgia.
Since NGC's inception in 2014, Mr. Alfi and his family have invested in every loan originated by New Gables Capital; typically, no less than 10% of each loan.
Mr. Alfi began his two-decade career as a banking executive and commercial real estate lender with the Dime Savings Bank of New York's Treasury and Commercial Real Estate groups. After six years, Mr. Alfi was named Vice President and Senior Loan Officer with Washington Mutual's Commercial Real Estate Lending Group. While with WaMu, he was consistently a top performer, personally originating over 700 commercial real estate loans aggregating over $1.4 billion.
In 2007, Mr. Alfi left commercial banking to become President of Investment Sales and Finance with GFI Realty Inc. Over the next year, he managed 40 sales and finance commercial real estate brokers serving primarily the New York metro area.
His two decades of experience have shaped his expertise in commercial real estate investments, loan underwriting, origination, syndication and balance sheet held assets and liabilities risk management. He still holds deep relationships with commercial real estate brokers, owners, operators, bankers, and investors.
Mr. Alfi is a veteran of the Israeli Air Force. He holds a BSC in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University, England, and an MBA from Bradford University, England.
