Eugene Schneur

Eugene is the co-Managing Director and co-founder of Omni New York LLC. Since Omni’s inception in 2004, Eugene has overseen the day to day operations of the organization that has grown into a full service real estate organization (development, syndication, construction, management and security) employing over 800 full time employees. During this period, Omni has acquired, rehabilitated or built 71 properties totaling over 16,500 units of affordable housing with an aggregate transaction amount of approximately $2.5 billion dollars. Prior to becoming a principal with Omni New York LLC, Eugene was a Mergers and Acquisitions attorney with Olshan Grundman Frome Rosenzweig & Wolosky LLP in New York. Eugene holds a degree from Cornell University in Industrial and Labor Relations, a J. D. from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law, and is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School in New York City. Eugene serves on the board of GrowNYC and the Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and is involved in numerous charitable organizations.
