Bio
Ernie Pierz is currently the GWS Regional Director for the North Central US. He is responsible for a number of accounts headquartered in that region including Dow, Express Scripts, Lexmark, Monsanto, Motorola, Walgreens as well as many others. Ernie joined CBRE in January 2011 as the Global Alliance Director for the Dow Account. Prior to his current Regional Director role, Ernie was an Executive Alliance Director supporting several Chicago region accounts and the JC Penney start up. He is based in Chicago, IL.
The above portfolio consists of over 200M sqft of retail, office, R&D and manufacturing space located in North America, Asia Pacific and Europe. CBRE managed services include Transaction Management, Lease Administration, Project Management and Facility Management as well as Strategic Consulting.
Before coming to CBRE, Ernie worked for almost 30 years at Exxon, Amoco and BP. During that time he held several senior management positions in Refining, Engineering and Construction, and Corporate Real Estate. For the last several years, Ernie was the General Manager for BP's property portfolio in the Americas. He also led BP's $200+million effort to construct new state of the art electronic oil and gas trading facilities across the Americas. His background encompasses; Facility Management, Project Management, Strategic Planning, Operations & Risk Management, Health, Safety & Environment, Real Estate Leasing, Acquisition & Disposal, IT Infrastructure, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Restructurings.
