With over 14 years of commercial real estate finance experience, Eric McGlynn, senior vice president and managing director, is responsible for nationwide debt and equity origination out of Walker & Dunlop’s Miami, Florida office. Mr. McGlynn is experienced with financing all major property types and has been directly involved in the placement of more than $3.7 billion of financing encompassing over 48,000 residential units and 15 million square feet of commercial space. Mr. McGlynn’s experience includes debt and equity structures, often in combination, for new construction, bridge and permanent financing. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. McGlynn served as director at Cohen Financial. Before joining Cohen Financial, Mr. McGlynn served as an analyst with L.J. Melody & Company, involved with underwriting and closing of more than $1 billion in structured real estate transactions. Prior to joining LJM, Mr. McGlynn served as in investment analyst in CMBS loan originations for Westminster Capital. Mr. McGlynn earned his bachelor’s degree at Babson College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Beyond the Company, Mr. McGlynn is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Florida.
