Eric Mackey

Eric Mackey is a Senior Vice President within CBRE's Capital Markets Institutional Properties practice. Mr. Mackey joined CBRE in July 2003 and has specialized in office product since October 2004. Eric has over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Since 2002, Mr. Mackey has specialized in commercial real estate investment brokerage. He has represented numerous institutional and private owners in the sale of over 300 properties with a total transactional value in excess of $12 billion.

Previously, Mr. Mackey served as the Director of Acquisitions at Insignia/ESG, where he was responsible for deal negotiation, debt placement and all matters relating to closing transactions with various co-investment partners. He also served as Senior Vice President of Insignia Commercial Group where he was responsible for overseeing the management and leasing operations of the company’s Southwest Region. During this time, he was also involved with the redevelopment of several retail and office properties in the portfolio.

Prior to joining Insignia, Mr. Mackey served with the Lonestar Funds, which sponsored private equity real estate funds with combined capital of $1.6 billion. He was directly involved in the acquisition of single properties and multiple asset portfolios located throughout the U.S. and Canada.
