Bio

Emily Kripitz Simmonds joined RIPCO in 2018 is a Director in RIPCO’s Manhattan office, specializing in landlord and tenant representation in the New York metropolitan area.

 

Emily has also worked in a number of the many submarkets of New York City, but extensively on Madison Avenue in Carnegie Hill, as well as the main fashion districts in NYC such as Flatiron, SoHo/Nolita, Meatpacking, and Upper East Side.

 

She most recently represented Butler Bake Shop in their first Manhattan flagship at 177 Lafayette in Nolita and Pink Chicken at 1200 Madison Avenue. Emily represented DTC brand, Taft, at 135 Prince Street in SoHo and Hudson Yards. She represented Gordon Property with securing Avocado Mattress’ flagship to 135 5th Avenue in Flatiron and Hotel Chocolat at 441 Lexington Avenue by Grand Central Terminal. She has represented luxury fashion designers such as Simone Rocha in SoHo and world renowned chef, Joel Robuchon in Meatpacking district in 2018.

 

Additional Tenant representation includes X-Ponential Fitness brands, Butler Bakeshop, Murray’s Cheese, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Follain, Framebridge, and Huckberry. Landlord representation includes Acadia Realty Trust, Brookfield Properties, The Related Companies, Gordon Property, HFZ Capital Group,L3 Capital, Midwood Capital, and RREEF Management amongst others.

 

Emily earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan and received a Grand Diploma in Culinary Arts from the French Culinary Institute in New York. She is a licensed salesperson in New York and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
