Bio

Elizabeth McHugh is a Vice President within CBRE Business Lending, a division of the company’s Debt & Structured Finance group that specializes in originating Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Small Balance Loans. Ms. McHugh is responsible for business development within the state of Florida and is based out of CBRE’s Miami office.

With more than 13 years of commercial real estate experience, Ms. McHugh has extensive experience in asset management, sales and marketing, leasing, financing, and ownership of commercial properties. Ms. McHugh returned to CBRE after serving in a variety of positions at Ocean Bank, including as Vice President and Asset Manager where she successfully managed and sold more than $108 million of commercial real estate assets in a variety of asset classes.

Prior to Ocean Bank, Ms. McHugh was a Strike Team Lead for CBRE’s Global Corporate Services FDIC account where she led and managed an on-site task force responsible for securing and managing all bank owned real estate resulting from banks being placed into FDIC receivership. Over the course of this role, Ms. McHugh participated in the closure or transfer of 38 banks including BankUnited, AmTrust, Western Bank of Puerto Rico, and Guaranty Bank. Within her tenure at CBRE, Ms. McHugh also served as an associate in the Advisory & Transaction Services group, representing office tenants. She played an integral role serving the team’s clients, including Bank of America, Greenberg Traurig, AMEX, Gray Robinson, American Cancer Society and others.
