Edward V Samek

Edward V. Samek is a Managing Director focused on U.S. real estate opportunities on the West Coast. He is based in Los Angeles. Previously, Mr. Samek was based in Washington, DC, where he oversaw transactions in Boston, Washington, DC, Florida and California. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2000, Mr. Samek worked at the J.E. Robert Co., where he executed investments for JER Partners' real estate opportunity funds. Mr. Samek graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
