Ed Belz

Ed Belz is a vice chairman with Newmark's Multifamily Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group in the Boston office. He joined the company's predecessor firm in 1990. Mr. Belz originates new multifamily and commercial loans throughout the U.S. His primary focus is on multifamily financing.

Mr. Belz has established a very successful track record of financing loan transactions across a range of property types and through numerous lending programs including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, life company, bridge and conduit.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Belz was an originator of commercial real estate loans for two Boston area commercial banks.

Mr. Belz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
