Ebrahim Valliani is an investment advisor with a proven track record in dispositions of hospitality assets in Illinois and neighboring areas. Ebrahim is Managing Director Investments focused in hospitality assets at the firm, and his primary role includes client advisement, business development, effective marketing and sale of an asset, and completion of a transaction from start to finish. Ebrahim Valliani is well-versed in the realm of hotels, understanding the perspective of an owner and prospective buyer. This allows him to look at the asset from both sides and come up with a game plan for each individual client which is unique to his or her own financial and lifestyle goals. Ebrahim brings a broad range of experience in the field of hotels including operations, development, rebranding, investment and sales. Since joining Marcus & Millichap in July 2015, Ebrahim has been directly responsible for closing more than 140 hotel transactions for about $650 million throughout the United States. Ebrahim has continued to rank among the top 10 investment sales specialists in Chicago for Marcus & Millichap across all property types and top 10 within the firm’s national hospitality division. In 2024, Ebrahim closed the largest hospitality portfolio transaction for the firm with 11 hotels at $101 million. Before joining Marcus & Millichap’s National Hospitality Division, Ebrahim Valliani built a 25+ year career in the hospitality and restaurant industry. He worked with two national hotel brands across Texas and Illinois in departments such as Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Management. He later founded a consulting firm, advising small business owners—primarily from the convenience store and restaurant franchise sectors—on entering the hotel industry to diversify their portfolios. Born in Chicago, Ebrahim also lived in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Dallas before returning to his hometown in 2004.
