Drew Arvay is considered one of the pre-eminent authorities and strategic thinkers in the real estate industry, both locally and nationally. As a Managing Partner for Cushman & Wakefield in San Jose, California, Drew has handled some of the most complex transactions over his forty years as an Medical/Corporate Office/R&D leasing and sales specialist. His insights have been said to shape Wall Street's view of Silicon Valley.
Professional Achievements
Drew received the highest honor in the Silicon Valley Real Estate Community: "The Mike Murphy - Lifetime Achievement Award". During Drew's career he has completed transactions totaling over $5.5 Billion in consideration, over 25 million in square footage leased or sold, and over 2,700 in acreage sold. Early in his career he was named "Outstanding Young Man of America" in recognition of outstanding professional achievement, superior leadership ability and exceptional service to the community. The San Jose Mercury News named Drew the only realtor in an elite group ("The Twelve Rising Stars in Silicon Valley") that the paper proclaimed "would shape the future of Silicon Valley".
Drew is a multiple winner of "Broker of the Year", selected by the San Jose Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers. Drew was elected to the Broker Hall of Fame (an elite four-member group at the time), by his peers, the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers, and the San Jose Chamber of Commerce.
Drew has been published nationally and internationally by Fortune and Time magazines, repeatedly quoted in the Wall Street Journal and locally in San Jose Mercury News, Business Journal and Biz Ink and is responsible for over 37 trade articles in publications such as Time, Square Footage, and Forum. His "No Easy Money in Brokerage" has become realty doctrine and "The Rise, Fall and Rise of Silicon Valley" was the thesis article at the International Real Estate Conference in Tokyo. Drew's lectures at Stanford, UC Berkeley, and San Jose State University are always student favorites.

Drew has also been instrumental in evaluating surplus properties for Hospital Networks and assisting in redeployment of capital through monetization of strategic assets.
