Douglas Swetman

As Vice President and Director of corporate security, Doug is responsible for administration of the security department, which consists of over one hundred employees. His staff provides security services to Wilmorite shopping centers, office/residential complexes and other interests owned by the company. Doug maintains a close relationship with the local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to address all security related events and homeland security matters. In addition to its security company, Wilmorite maintains its own New York State approved security training school, in which Doug is the director. Doug is a graduate of SUNY Brockport with a degree in Criminal Justice. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and serves on their Security Subcommittee. He began his career with Wilmorite in 1996 after serving 23 years and retiring as a captain from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office in Rochester, New York.
