Douglas Schuster

As an executive managing director with Newmark, Douglas S. Schuster is responsible for directing the firm's various activities. He specializes in the acquisition and disposition of investment portfolios. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Schuster has provided a variety of real estate services, including sales, valuation, consulting and work-out disposition. His diverse clientele includes Blackstone, The Bascom Group, C.W. Capital, The Calida Group, FPA Multifamily, Nevada West and Security Properties, to name a few.

Mr. Schuster has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience in Las Vegas, Portland, San Diego, Phoenix and Salt Lake City. Prior to joining ARA in 2008, he was a senior vice president with NAI Horizon.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Schuster has been responsible for the acquisition and disposition of more than $4 billion in multi-family sales. His extensive transaction list includes such projects as Nevada West Portfolio ($170 Million), Elysian West ($110 Million), and Elysian at The District ($98 Million).
