Doug Butcher joined CBRE in 2001, focusing his efforts on Industrial Services. Doug spends his time developing new accounts in the landlord/seller representation arena, as well as in investment opportunities in the Louisville area.
Since joining the team, Doug has represented landlords such as ProLogis, KTR and DCT in leasing local facilities; as well as representing clients such as Buske, Dakkota Integrated Systems, Kroger, UPS and General Electric. On investment and building sales, Doug has represented Kansas City Life, Hollingsworth Properties, A.O. Smith, GE Capital and Oxford Real Estate Advisors.
Doug is a member of SIOR, Leadership Kentucky and the Leadership Louisville Foundation - Ignite Louisville. He is on the ALS National Board of Trustees. Doug was a member of the Board of Directors of the local chapter of the March of Dimes from 2005-2010 and is on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky ALS Association. He participated on the March of Dimes Commercial Real Estate Achievements Committee from 2005-2010. Doug was the 2010 Louisville Walk to Defeat ALS Chair and was the 2008 Corporate Co-Chair for the Louisville Walk to Defeat ALS. He is on the Citizens Advisory Committee of the Louisville Day Treatment, a program for troubled youth, as well as the Kentucky Association for Economic Development Membership Committee.
