DJ Sworobuk

DJ is responsible for leading an investment management team that creates value in a US$1.3bn portfolio of 17 commercial and multifamily properties primarily through value-add renovations and leasing. He joined Grosvenor in 2006 as a Senior Investment Manager and was appointed to lead the Washington, D.C. investment management team in 2011. DJ has thirty years of experience in various real estate asset management and investment roles at a national bank’s wealth management group in Washington, D.C., privately held real estate investment company in Maryland and the Northern Virginia divisions of a top-ten US homebuilder. Prior to those management roles, D.J. was a real estate economic consultant and commercial property appraiser. D.J. was educated at Northwestern University (B.A. Biological Sciences) and earned an advanced degree from The George Washington University (M.B.A. Urban Development).
