Bio
Derek has been a Leasing Agent with Gart Properties since 2006. He is responsible for the leasing efforts of over 2 million square feet of retail space throughout the Denver metro area. He began his commercial real estate career in 1998 with General Growth Properties and has held a multitude of positions ranging from General Manager to Group Vice President of Business Development. Derek graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Business Administration. Hometown: Marshalltown, Iowa Interests outside of work: Derek lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife and two boys. He enjoys hiking, camping, cycling, the Colorado Rockies and spending time with his family.
