Derek Friederich

AT MILHAUS: As Vice President of Acquisitions, Derek leads Milhaus’ acquisitions business and focuses on acquiring properties within growth markets. Derek is responsible for acquisition pipeline, underwriting, negotiations and transaction oversight.

EXPERIENCE: Prior to joining Milhaus, Derek supported a private equity platform where he was responsible for everything from sourcing and vetting M&A transactions to driving post-acquisition business plan execution and strategic initiatives. He started with Milhaus as the Director of Capital Markets and Investor Relations where he was responsible for capital partnerships across the Milhaus portfolio with a primary focus on equity sourcing, placement and structuring for all developments and acquisitions. He received his Bachelor’s degree at Butler University in finance.
