Debra Kenyon

Debbie has been at L+M for over twenty-five years where she has served in many roles from General Counsel to Director of Development to Chief Operating Officer. In her current role as Vice Chair and Senior Partner, she is focused on the company’s commitments to philanthropy and community investment that align with L+M’s mission of doing well and doing good. She spearheads L+M’s community investment work which supports L+M’s work as a developer, builder and owner that builds community as well as buildings. In addition, Debbie is responsible for oversight of risk management and legal for the company and continues to provide guidance in the environmental challenges of its business. Debbie began her career as an attorney specializing in corporate law at Robinson, Silverman, Pearce, Aronsohn and Berman in New York City. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the State University of New York at Binghamton and earned a JD from New York University School of Law. Debbie sits on the boards of Building Skills NY – a non-profit that partners with local workforce providers to place unemployed and underemployed New Yorkers in construction jobs and PENCIL – an organization that connects New York City public school students to success through partnerships with the business community. She has served as a mentor in the Let’s Get Ready college admissions mentoring program for low-income high school students, and was a past president of the Mamaroneck Schools Foundation.
