Bio

In 1994, after practicing twenty years in commercial real estate, Debbie Currier formed Currier Properties, Inc., a firm specializing in retail tenant representation. Debbie began her career with Harris Teeter and credits her later successes to that early training as a site analyst and real estate manager. Currier Properties' client list includes a variety of retailers, including CarMax, rue21, GNC, FedEx Office, Rainbow Fashions, Target (surplus), Pet People, Shoe Sensation and previous clients of Food Lion, Blockbuster, Circuit City, hhgregg, Big Lots, Payless Shoes, rue21, and Burlington Coat. Debbie has located and assisted her clients in acquiring hundreds of retail locations throughout the Southeast. Debbie served for over six years on the City of Charlotte Zoning Board of Adjustments, initially as an appointed board member and later as Chairperson of the Board. She attended both Wingate University and Queens University. She served as president of the Retail Brokers Network in 2016 & 2017 and is currently a member of the Advisory Committee. Debbie is a licensed real estate broker in both NC and SC and is an active member of ICSC. Debbie enjoys traveling, reading and Pilates and is part of a large family all located within her hometown of Charlotte.
