Dean Huber

With over 15 years of commercial real estate experience, Dean Huber, Director, is responsible for originating loans nationwide and is based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Milwaukee, Wisconsin office. Mr. Huber has been involved in numerous financing structures including permanent, construction, and bridge placements. Throughout his mortgage banking career, Mr. Huber has closed over $1 billion worth of agency, life company, bank, CMBS, and HUD loans. His primary focus is placing permanent loans for income-producing properties, such as multifamily, office, industrial, and retail. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Huber served as an assistant vice president at M&I Bank. Before relocating back to the Midwest, Mr. Huber worked for JPMorgan Investment Management underwriting bridge loans, and for ING Real Estate Finance underwriting insurance company balance sheet loans. Mr. Huber holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with dual degrees in accounting and real estate. He also holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate from New York University. Beyond the company, Mr. Huber is a member of the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), and Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA). Outide of work, Mr. Huber enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and enjoys boating, hunting, and snowmobiling.
