David Zobel

Circle is led by David Zobel, an accomplished real estate executive with two decades of institutional investment experience.

Mr. Zobel has completed over $13 billion of real estate transactions covering more than 25 million square feet, serving as a trusted fiduciary to institutional investors and sophisticated family offices.

Prior to forming Circle, Mr. Zobel had a 14-year tenure at Paramount Group, a publicly-traded REIT focused on commercial property in the gateway U.S. markets. At Paramount Group, Mr. Zobel was Executive Vice President and Head of Investments, a role in which he oversaw all investment and private capital raising activities. During Mr. Zobel’s tenure, Paramount completed the largest real estate IPO in U.S. history.

Following Paramount Group, Mr. Zobel was the Partner & Chief Investment Officer at Vanbarton Group, a role he held until forming Circle.

Mr. Zobel attended the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
