David Zackowitz

David Zackowitz is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group. Before joining Blackstone in 2015, Mr. Zackowitz was a Senior Vice President at C-III Capital Partners where he worked in the Principal Investments Group acquiring commercial real estate assets and non-performing loans. From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Zackowitz was a Senior Vice President with the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy estate responsible for restructuring and asset managing a portfolio of the estate's real estate investments. Mr. Zackowitz began his career as a member of Lehman's Global Real Estate Group in 2001 where he spent seven years underwriting, structuring and acquiring real estate investments throughout the United States. Mr. Zackowitz received a BS in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University.
