David Wiener is a hospitality specialist in Marcus & Millichap's Washington D.C. area office. As an Investment Sales Associate in the firm's National Hospitality Group, he represents sellers and buyers of investment properties throughout the mid-Atlantic and northeast regions.Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, David spent 27 years in the hotel business, holding senior Sales & Marketing roles at both corporate and on-property levels. Most recently he held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales for a well-known New York City-based brand with annual revenues in excess of $1B, overseeing the company's global sales division. David's responsibilities included, among other things, strategic planning, revenue generation, 3rd-party ownership relations and sales & marketing due diligence for asset acquisitions and renovations, ranging from $1M to $225M.Additionally, David earned a certificate in Hotel Real Estate and Asset Management from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration.With his background, David has a unique understanding of the hotel business from the owner's perspective, and the challenges and opportunities they face. Combining this with his absolute commitment to customer service, David is passionate about working with investors to help them achieve their commercial real estate investment goals.
